Bluebox

Bluebox on Base

How to use Bluebox

Bluebox seals tokens on Base into a claim link. The card shows which tickers sit inside. The amount stays hidden until the box is opened.

1. Connect a wallet

Tap Connect and pick Coinbase Wallet or a browser wallet. Use one wallet for the whole flow — do not mix a Smart Wallet approve with a different wallet claim. You need the tokens you want to pack, plus a little ETH for gas.

2. Pack a box

  1. On Studio, tap a token to put it in the box. Tap it again to take it out. Up to four tokens.
  2. Custom ERC-20: tap Custom and paste the Base contract. Bluebox reads the symbol and decimals.
  3. Set how much each claimer gets. USD is a helper — the lock uses the token amount.
  4. Pick Direct, Community, or FCFS.
  5. Choose a card template, or upload a photo. Recipients see that art, not the size of the gift.
  6. Tap Lock on Base. Approve each new ERC-20 once, then confirm the lock. Smart Wallet can batch those into one signature.

After it confirms, copy the claim link. That link is the only key. Bluebox does not store it on the server in a way others can guess — keep it, or the box cannot be claimed.

3. Share it

Direct: send the link only to the named wallets. Community: share with holders of your gate token. FCFS: post the link on X. The card they see names the tickers inside and hides the amount until they open it.

4. Claim it

  1. Open the claim link. The sealed card is the gift — amounts are not on it yet.
  2. Tap Open to reveal what is inside, then connect the wallet that should receive it.
  3. Direct boxes pay only the named wallet. Community boxes revert if you do not hold the gate token. FCFS pays the first wallets that confirm.
  4. Tap Claim. Tokens move from escrow to that wallet.

Distribution modes

Direct names up to ten wallets. Each wallet gets every token in the box. Optional date lock or vest.

Community checks a hold-token onchain at claim. Set the token and a minimum balance. Wallets below that revert — including bots.

FCFS is first wallets with the link. Share it on X. There is no onchain hold gate. The claim still needs a click in this app.

Time lock (Direct)

Date: nothing is claimable until that day. Vest: a slice unlocks each week or month. The full amount sits in escrow from pack. Claim pays only what has unlocked. Pull returns only the unvested remainder — unlocked slices stay with the recipient. Community and FCFS stay immediate.

Your boxes

Packed boxes on this device show under Boxes. Copy the claim link again, or pull unclaimed tokens back. A time-lock pull cannot take unlocked slices. The secret lives on this device — another phone will not list these boxes unless you packed from there too.

One lock transaction

New boxes use BlueboxEscrowV3. packMany locks every token and wallet in one transaction. claimMany and pullMany do the same on the way out. A regular wallet still approves each ERC-20 once, then signs a single lock.

Original boxes stay on V1

If you packed a box on the original escrow, it stays there. The claim link does not change. Bluebox reads the escrow from the box itself — no migrate, no re-pack. New boxes from Studio lock on V3.

Fee

Flat 1% at pack, sent to treasury in the same transaction. The amount on the opened card is what the claimer receives once unlocked.

Tokenized stocks

NVDA, AAPL, TSLA, and the rest of the B20 list are Coinbase tokenized stocks. They are not available to US persons. Bluebox blocks pack and claim of those tickers from a US IP. ETH, USDC, $BASECAT, and other ERC-20s stay available.
